Calorie Calculator
Estimate how many calories you need per day based on age, sex, weight, height, and activity level. Uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR and standard activity multipliers for TDEE. For planning only; individual needs vary.

How it works
BMR is computed with Mifflin-St Jeor: for men, 10×weight(kg) + 6.25×height(cm) − 5×age + 5; for women, the constant is −161. TDEE = BMR × activity factor. Reduce intake for weight loss, increase for gain.
When to use it
Use it to set a daily calorie target or to compare with other calculators. Always combine with a healthcare provider for major diet changes.
Frequently asked questions
- What is BMR? Basal metabolic rate—calories burned at rest. TDEE is total daily expenditure including activity.
- Which formula is used? We use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR. Activity multipliers are standard (sedentary to very active).
